JOB CLASSIFICATION
The University has established a program of job classification to insure that similar jobs receive similar pay. A job should not only be paid a similar rate as other jobs of its kind in the University, but it should also be paid as nearly as possible the same rate as similar jobs in the competing area. Periodic surveys of wages and benefits provided to employees by other employers are made so as to strive for equity in UT Tyler jobs with like jobs in the surrounding area.
