INSTITUTIONAL COMPLIANCE
All UT Tyler employees are expected to adhere to all laws, rules and regulations, statutes and University policies that apply to the activities of the institution. In support of this policy, U.T. Tyler has a zero tolerance policy toward any illegal activity, knowing or reckless non-compliance with federal and state laws, regulations and institutional policies. All employees have a responsibility to report a potential violation or actual violation of the laws, regulations, or institutional policies to the compliance hotline (1-800-500-0333), institutional compliance officer, or other members of the institutional compliance committee. Failure to report any violation or potential violation may be subject to disciplinary action. The University will not accept an employee’s claim that improper conduct occurred for the benefit of U.T. Tyler. The University expressly prohibits illegal conduct on the part of any employee during the execution of his or her duties for the institution. Non-compliance may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
