PREMIUM SHARING
Premium sharing funds are provided by the State to assist the employee in paying for health insurance coverage. Also included in the premium sharing provided by the State is $10,000 term-life insurance and $10,000 accidental death insurance for the employee only. Premium Sharing can be applied to health insurance only. If an employee waives their health insurance coverage, the premium sharing can be used to purchase other types of coverage such as dental, vision, life, etc.
