The College of Engineering at The University of Texas at Tyler offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering and Construction Management.

Students enrolling in these engineering disciplines are given an opportunity to develop a strong background in the engineering sciences and to learn the analysis, design and synthesis tools necessary to be active participants in traditional, as well as new and emerging areas of technology.

The College of Engineering has excellent laboratory facilities where students receive hands-on instruction by faculty. Our state-of-the-art workstations are routinely used in all programs. While our classes are taught by faculty from local industries, thus providing students the opportunity to interact with engineering professionals engaged in relevant engineering practice. 

Our Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, https://www.abet.org.

The bachelor of science in Construction Management is accredited by the Applied and Natural Science Accreditation Commission of ABET, https://www.abet.org.
