Tenure-Track Faculty Position Announcement
The Department of Management and Marketing invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing. Pending budget approval, the position is an academic year appointment at The University of Texas at Tyler beginning fall semester 2014.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Marketing.
Preferred Qualifications: A terminal degree (PhD) from an accredited program with a proven record of outstanding teaching and scholarship.
Responsibilities: Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 1) carrying out a program of research; 2) participating in collaborative research that involves business practitioners, students, and faculty; 3) providing leadership; 4) teaching face-to-face and online; and 5) assist in the maintenance of AACSB accreditation.
Salary: Salary is AACSB competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience of the candidate.
PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT: Tenure-track position expecting permission to hire August 2014.

UT Tyler is a component of The University of Texas System and is located in the beautiful East Texas lake country on the I-20 corridors, about 100 miles east of Dallas and 200 miles north of Houston. The College of Business and Technology houses three academic departments, with a student population of 1500 students and more than 50 full time faculty and staff members.
