Many of our programs are based upon financial need which is determined once a student completes the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You may complete the FAFSA on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov,
or you may have an application mailed to your home by calling 1-800-433-3243. The Financial Aid office at The University of Texas at Tyler can provide assistance along with a free worksheet to help you prepare the on-line application.
Part of the decision-making process is deciding how to finance your education. There are several places you can look for financial assistance even outside of the Financial Aid office. Religious groups and organizations, labor unions, community groups, professional or trade organizations and corporations are just a few of the many sources that offer funding.
