At UT Tyler we know financial assistance is important to students. That is why we offer an extensive list of federal, state and private financial aid opportunities. Many of our programs are based upon financial need which is determined once a student completes the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You may complete the application on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The Financial Aid office at The University of Texas at Tyler can provide assistance and a free worksheet to help prepare the on-line application.
Part of the decision-making process is deciding how to finance your education. There are several places you can look for financial assistance. Religious groups and organizations, labor unions, community groups, professional or trade organizations and corporations are just a few of the many sources that offer scholarships.
