What attracted you to this field?

I wanted to take care of people in a more independent capacity and felt I had grown as much as an RN as possible clinically and was time to move forward and up.

Why did you choose UT Tyler?

I’m an Alumni of course!

What do you like most about UT Tyler?

Ease of learning, availability of faculty

What are your career aspirations?

Continue to work as an FNP in primary care, possibly management, teaching and POSSIBLY pursue DNP

What's your work experience?

Hospital to include ER/Med Surg/ICU, Home Health/Correctional Nursing

Do you have any advice to pass along to other students interested in this program?

Be ready to spend about three years with no life, but it will be completely and totally worth it!!!
