Why did you choose UT Tyler?
I chose to attend UT Tyler to broaden my global understanding of nursing. The online format suited my personal circumstance and the variety of elective/cognate options piqued my initial interest.
What are your career goals and how does your graduate program support them?
Coursework online, in Shanghai China, and through the NEXUS collaboration has assisted me in meeting my initial goals and in developing a trajectory of research in blood and marrow cell transplant nursing.
What do you like most about UT Tyler?
The most rewarding aspect of my UT Tyler experience has been the support of the faculty. Their approach facilitates engagement in nursing scholarship and confidence with the research process. The annual residency in Tyler allows students to build a community with one another as well as personally connect with faculty mentors.
