Why did you choose to attend UT Tyler?
I chose UT Tyler because of the reputation of both the UT system and more specifically UT Tyler EHCA MPA program in preparing future healthcare leaders.
What are your career goals and how does your graduate program support them?
My career goals are to obtain an executive level position within a healthcare organization and eventually give back to the next generation of healthcare leaders through teaching. Coursework including biostatistics, human resources, and accounting/finance will prepare me to achieve these goals. Additionally, the capstone project in our last semester will allow to me analyze a healthcare organization and develop a strategic plan addressing their needs which will be applicable to my future role as a healthcare executive.
What do you like most about UT Tyler?
The faculty brings their past healthcare experiences into the classroom which helps students connect what they are learning to real world application.
