How will this scholarship help you?

After years of staying home to raise four children on one salary, I entered graduate school.  This scholarship relieved some of the pressure of paying for school on top of taking care of my family.  It makes the plan to obtain a master's degree much more feasible.

What is your favorite part about UT Tyler?

My fellow classmates in the online program are from all parts of the U.S.and world. They have a wealth of experience and knowledge to share. I also appreciate that everyone on campus that I have spoken to has been very friendly and helpful.

What is your goal after graduation?

Renew my teaching certification so that I can get back into a high school classroom or even move on to a junior college or university position.
