Welcome! Welcome to UT Tyler and the Office of Graduate Studies (OGS). Here you will find a committed community of faculty and students involved in both coursework and research that will enhance your skills in the marketplace, prepare you for new careers and challenges, and spark your desire to discover. We offer 35 master's programs, 1 doctoral program (Ph.D. in Nursing), and 5 graduate certificates. Three of our master's programs are entirely on-line: MBA Online, Nursing MSN and the M. Ed. in Health and Kinesiology. Also, our Ph.D. in Nursing is entirely on-line through the UT System's highly acclaimed UT Telecampus. Most of our on-campus degree programs are available on a full-time or part-time basis, and graduate courses are offered in the evening for the convenience of working students. The mission of the Office of Graduate Studies is to work with the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Graduate Council, the Office of Sponsored Research, the academic deans, and the graduate programs and faculty to promote excellence in graduate education. The Office of Graduate Studies accomplishes this by ensuring challenging and relevant graduate curricula, promoting a diverse set of programs, providing efficient and innovative central services for students and faculty, recruiting diverse and highly qualified students, and fostering an environment that prepares graduate students to be future leaders in industry, government and academia.
