If you are interested in applying as an international student to UT Tyler, we recommend first reading the "Six Steps for International Students" posted by the American Chemical Society. This is an excellent getting started guide no matter what your intended major. Information regarding the U.S. visa process can be found at the U.S. Department of State website. Education USA provides tips on entrance exams, applying, financing, visas, and pre-departure information for international students.
The United States has launched a government-wide initiative to encourage the best and brightest international students and scholars to study and remain in the United States. A key component of this initiative is the launch of StudyInTheStates.dhs.gov, a new, dynamic website that serves as a clearinghouse of information aimed at helping international students navigate the international student process.
