GRE or GMAT Scores
Most graduate programs require official scores of either the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) or the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). Refer to the admission requirements of the program to which you are applying to determine if official GRE or GMAT scores are required for admission.
Graduate Record Examinations (GRE)
The desired minimum GRE score range for most programs is 290-300. The College of Business and Technology uses the following formula when considering applicants: grade point average x 100 + combined GRE score (old format) = 1000 or greater.

Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)
There is no minimum GMAT score required; however, the College of Business and Technology uses the following formula when considering applicants: grade point average x 200 + GMAT = 1000 or greater.
The GMAT is administered by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). There is no institutional code for UT Tyler required for the GMAT. Testing dates and additional information can be found at www.mba.com
