Students must have adequate financial support to cover all expenses for the entire length of their program of study.

Tuition is assessed each semester and is based on the number of credit hours in which students enroll. F-1 international students are required to enroll full-time each semester; full-time enrollment for graduate students is 9 credit hours.

Tuition and fees for special programs (such as the Nursing and Human Resources Development Doctoral programs) may be slightly higher or lower than the tuition and fees for other programs.

Living expenses are based on a 9-month time frame.  F-1 international students who begin enrollment at UT Tyler in a fall or spring semester are not required to enroll in the summer session.  Remaining in Tyler during the summer break is optional.  Students are urged, however, to estimate and budget accordingly if they intend to remain in the United States during the summer break.

The estimated cost of transportation does not include the cost of purchasing and maintaining an automobile or the cost of travel to and from a student’s home country.

Tuition and fees are subject to change at any time without notice.

A Graduate Estimated Tuition and Fees Calculator is located on our website.
