North American Interfraternity Conference Fraternities

The North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) is the governing body for 64 men’s fraternities; it was founded in 1910. Two NIC fraternities colonized at UT Tyler during the Spring 2007 semester and are looking to be chartered during the Fall 2007 semester.

Generally, men desiring membership in an NIC fraternity go through rush. This year, fraternity rush took place September 5-7, 2007. If you are still interested in membership please come by The Office of Student Development to acquire contact information for the fraternities.
