Bachelor of Science in History / Bachelor of Art in History

Lower-Division Preparation

Students who wish to major in history should complete six hours of western or world civilization at the freshman-sophomore level. In designing their lower-level program of study, students who wish to pursue the Bachelor of Arts degree should take four semesters of a foreign language, and students who wish to pursue the Bachelor of Science degree should take at least six hours of economics and/or geography.
