Online Master of Science in Kinesiology
Total Semester Credit Hours = 36
The Department of Health and Kinesiology offers a fully 100% online MS Kinesiology degree that is unlike any other online MS Kinesiology degree in Texas or the United States.
Using state of the art technology, UT Tyler's Department of Health and Kinesiology offers all MS Kinesiology core courses using Elluminate Live. Unlike most traditional online classes that utilize "correspondence" like learning, the Department of Health and Kinesiology's online MS Kinesiology program's core courses will be taught simultaneously with the traditional face-to-face classes, thereby offering, for the first time, an online MS Kinesiology degree that feels like face-to-face.
Online students must participate during designated class times. For each core course, there will be a group of students in the classroom as well as a group of online students participating in the class from anywhere there is Internet access. This innovative teaching tool allows online students the opportunity to listen to lectures, ask their professors questions and collaborate with face-to-face students as if they were sitting in the classroom. With this online MS Kinesiology program, the Department of Health and Kinesiology is setting new standards of what the online learning experience can be.
