Honors Program Application

Admission Criteria The Honors Program at the University of Texas at Tyler is seeking highly motivated and academically talented high school seniors to be admitted into the Honors Program. While the Honors Committee will review all submitted applications, successful applicants typically meet the following standards:

-Minimum 3.5 high school GPA

-An ACT composite score of at least 27 OR an SAT composite score of at least 1800.


The priority application deadline for freshman students who will start at UT-Tyler in the fall of 2013 is March 1st, 2013.
