UT Tyler Honors Program

LOGOS Student Group

LOGOS is the student group associated with the Honors Program at UT Tyler, which is intended to enhance a student's overall experience within the Honors Program.  Over the years, this club has planned volunteer opportunities, social gatherings, and academic study sessions.

LOGOS aims to foster "a community of Honors students promoting academic excellence, social engagement, and the life of the mind."

The 2017-2018 LOGOS executive board is:

  • President: Bryan Knous
  • Chair of Outreach: Elizabeth Boshers
  • Chair of Community: Tiffany Wilson
  • Chair of Service: Aaron Cortinas
  • Chair of Social Media: Chris Ejiayna

A message from a previous LOGOS Vice President Sierra Gullette:

"LOGOS is a great way to network and get involved without having a lot of pressure or mandatory elements. Though everything is highly suggested, we understand that people have lives outside of the Honors Program and UT Tyler and not everything we do will appeal to everyone. We are a club that listens to all of its members and allows everyone's ideas to be heard. We form a community of well-rounded individuals who like to participate in the larger community and encourage personal as well as group growth."
