Global Quiz Night
Global Quiz Night is a campuswide event in which teams of students compete against one another in a trivia bowl. Teams compete for over a $1,600 worth of prizes and the glory of being crowned Global Quiz Night Grand Champion.
Mark your calendars for the Sixth Annual Global Quiz Night: Oct. 26, 2017, in the UC Ballroom.
Check-in begins at 5:30 p.m. and the event starts at 6 p.m.
Registration opens in early September.
Students can register for Global Quiz Night as a team or as an individual. Teams will need to designate one individual as the team captain. The team captain will receive all official emails relating to Global Quiz Night and be responsible for forwarding emails to their teammates. All announcements will also be posted on the UT Tyler Honors Program Facebook page.
If you would like to participate in Global Quiz Night and do not have a team, you can register as an individual. Prior to the start of the event, we will place you on a team.
Walk-ins on the evening of the event are also welcome to participate, but space may be limited.
All students participants will receive an official Global Quiz Night swag item. There is no cost associated with participating in the event.
2016 Global Quiz Night Rules & Procedures
All team captains will be required to attend a team captain meeting prior to Oct. 26 to review the rules and procedures of the event. Additionally, all teams will be provided with one copy of the rules at the night of the event.

Tiebreaker Questions (in partnership with the University Archives)
If you really want to get an edge on the competition, you can do research on the tiebreak questions. The University Archives is furnishing the tiebreak questions for this year and has material available for students who want to study up in the event that they land in the tiebreaker round. You can find out more about the University Archives and Special Collections here or visit them in Library 107 between Oct. 24-27.
