About Us

UT Tyler is home to more than 800 resident students who live in Ornelas Hall, Patriot Village or University Pines.

Located on campus, all three housing facilities are conveniently a few minutes’ walk from your classes, the library, student center and recreational facilities. Each student residence is designed especially with UT Tyler students in mind and offers first-class living arrangements.

UT Tyler Residence Life takes each student’s safety very seriously and provides staff members on duty 24 hours a day.

Important Move-In Update!

There is a 40% chance it will rain on move-in day.  We will run the move-in process as outlined in the links above.  However, we do ask that you plan for rain ... please pack your items in boxes and label them with your name and room number ahead of time.  This is especially important for electronic equipment.
