Russell Korte has joined The University of Texas at Tyler Human Resource Development (HRD) faculty fall semester 2007. Dr. Korte recently completed his PhD at the University of Minnesota in Human Resource Development. He has a MBA from the University of St. Thomas, and a BS from St. Cloud State University.

Korte has extensive work experience in business and industry related to human resource development, workforce training, and organizational performance. Most recently, Korte has been conducting National Science Foundation funded research related to the socialization of new engineers in the workplace.

Calling upon his unique combination of research expertise and work experience, Korte has a major commitment to working with the UT Tyer's Business Academy. The Business Academy program of field-based research connects external organizational partners and sponsors to the new HRD PhD program in the College of Business and Technology.
