Dr. Mark Miller Publishes Third Book this Year
October 1, 2007

Dr. Mark R. Miller, Coordinator for the graduate Industrial Management and undergraduate Industrial Technology programs co-authors his third technical book for 2007.  The first book entitled, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration covers all aspects of today’s cooling and climate control systems.  It offers step-by-step guidance to learning the air conditioning trade with over 800 illustrations. Dr. Miller notes that “the book was written for everyone no matter what your present level of skill.”  Air conditioning students at community colleges, professionals already out in the field and even homeowners can follow this book to learn how to select, install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot AC and refrigeration systems.

The other two books Dr. Miller co-authored are licensing study guides for HVAC and welding.  These books cover the main topics that are included on the licensing exams and then provide sample questions and answers so examinees are prepared and have the confidence to pass these exams on the first try.  All three books are available at local books stores such as Barnes and Nobles, Borders, and Waldenbooks.  Dr. Miller is the author and co-author of over 30 textbooks for trade and industrial programs and has developed technical curricula for high schools, technical schools and colleges for over 20 years.
