b.    Provide copies of all college and university transcripts

Note:  If you do not hold a registration, certification or license awarded by a professionally recognized national agency, you will be required to take the National Occupational Competency Test Institute (NOCTI) Assessment before you receive your teaching certification.

d.    Submit a (non-refundable) personal check or money order, payable to The University of Texas at Tyler for $45.00 (no cash).  Forward the completed Items, a - d, to:

Attn:  T&I Certification

Upon receipt of the application materials, a Department of HRD and Technology professor will evaluate the applicant’s work experience and transcripts.  At that time an unofficial Career Development Plan request form will be sent to the College of Education Certification Office .

The Certification Officer will review the application materials and initiate an official “Career Development Plan.”  A copy of the Plan will be mailed to the applicant.  If you have any questions regarding the status of the Plan, contact Ms. Ginny Fender, at (903) 566-9279.
