Descriptions of Costs Above

Application Fee: $50 USD (non-refundable)

Tuition Deposit: $100 USD (non-refundable tuition deposit only for first-time application. Deposit is applied to tuition cost of students first session.)

Tuition Includes: placement testing; orientation program; 21 class hours each week; social activities; learner management system (LMS); practice TOEFL examinations (for students in good standing); and advising.

IELI Fees include:  records (transcripts and enrollment certification); basic computer and internet access; authentic learning excursions.

Mandatory Insurance/Clinic Fees: University Clinic Access Fee $35. Health insurance varies by session and semester. Learn more about UT Tyler's health insurance here.

Optional University of Texas at Tyler Fee:  $40 Recreational Facility access for a full semester.

Additional fee for optional specialty seminars: $180/week (15 hour instructional week); fee includes books. Tuition for half-sessions (4 weeks) is $1,000 plus fees and insurance.

Delegations:  Pro-rated fees will apply to short-term classroom experiences for individual students or groups/delegations based on the standard $250/week rate for 21 class hours of instruction each week. For more information contact ieli@uttyler.edu.
