Music Performance at UT Tyler

UT Tyler School of Performing Arts

The School of Performing Arts holds a strong belief in the value of music and the fine arts as essential components of the human spirit, necessary to a well-rounded fulfilling existence. The School provides a wide variety of music performance opportunities for musicians of various skill levels, through ensembles open to membership without audition, as well as ensembles designed to meet the needs of pre-professional musicians.

Scholarships

Any UT Tyler student regardless of major who wishes to participate in a choral or instrumental ensemble may qualify to receive a Talent Scholarship. Students must audition for an award during the spring prior to intended enrollment. Awards are renewable.
