The Patriot Singers are the premiere choral ensemble at UT Tyler and perform high calibre repertoire spanning sacred Renaissance works to vocal jazz. The Patriot Singers perform in all Music Department choral concerts each year, as well as in numerous community and regional performances as musical ambassadors for the University. Membership is by audition.

University Chorale

University Chorale is open to any student, staff, or faculty member who is interested in singing and improving their vocal technique through an enriching, enjoyable, and educational choral experience. The University Chorale performs 3 to 5 times per year in Music Department concerts, drawing upon a rich heritage of music from "classical," folk, spiritual and religious traditions. An audition is not required for membership in University Chorale, but a brief visit with the director is needful to determine the singer's most confortable vocal range.
