Construction Updates: Riter
Millennium Carillon Tower

Doug Gefvert (center in top photo), third carillonneur
of the Washington Memorial National Carillon, trains UT Tyler
faculty and students to play the carillon during an instructional
session July 24. Students and faculty will be performing concerts
on the carillon after the Dub and B.J. Riter Millennium Carillon
Tower and Plaza is completed. An electronic keyboard will
operate the bells from the UT Tyler Administration Building.
The bells can be operated by an individual or programmed to
play on a scheduled basis.
