The Press Club received the Outstanding Student Organization Award for the fall semester. Award recipients were announced during a Student Organization Presidents’ Council meeting Dec. 5 in the University Center. OSO honorees were chosen based on organizational activities during the semester. The Press Club was awarded $200 and its name was added to the Outstanding Student Organization plaque. The American Chemical Society Student Affiliate placed second and was awarded $100. The third-place award of $75 went to the Criminal Justice Students Association.
