Tyler Announces President's Honor Roll, Dean's List
The University
of Texas at Tyler has announced the President's Honor Roll
and Dean's List for the 2001 fall semester.
To be named to the President's Honor Roll at UT Tyler, a student
must have completed, in one semester, 12 or more semester
credit hours with grades of "A" in all courses that
carry grade points.
To be named to the Dean's List, a student must have completed
at least nine semester credit hours at the university with
a grade point average of 3.7 or above.

Seminar to be Held at UT Tyler
Myth,
Message and Meaning of Islam, Christianity and Judaism
will be 3 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 at The University
of Texas at Tyler Braithwaite Recital Hall, President Rodney
H. Mabry has announced.
The seminar is designed for students, and members of
the community are invited. It will focus on the Islamic faith
and offer explanations of Islamic, Catholic, Protestant and
Judaic religions, said Susan Thomae-Morphew, Cowan Center
director and seminar coordinator.

The University of Texas at Tyler College of
Business and Technology will hold its fourth annual business
career fair Friday, Feb. 22, Dr. Jim Tarter, College of Business
and Technology dean, has announced.
The event will be 8:30 a.m. 3:30 p.m. in the UT Tyler
Business Administration Building.
