“Dr.
Clark has been involved in a multitude of educational organizations
at the national, state and local level throughout his professional
career, and has an outstanding record of service to The University
of Texas at Tyler and the East Texas community,’’ said
Dr. William Bruce, interim dean of the College of Education and
Psychology.
“Dr.
Clark is viewed by his peers in the field of education as a consummate
professional both nationally and locally,’’ said Dr.

He is most deserving of this leadership award.’’

program support services, the implementation of the Center for the

Laboratory and the implementation of the Principal Institute and
UT Tyler Literacy Center.
He is involved in a number of community organizations that provide
for growth and development in the city of Tyler. Dr. Clark is active
in the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce and has served as chair of
the Education and Human Resources Committee. He recently began serving
