U.S. Navy Band to Perform at Cowan Center

The Tyler Lions Club and The University of Texas at Tyler will sponsor a free concert by the U.S. Navy's bluegrass band Country Current at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, at the Cowan Center.

Requests for tickets must be made by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to U.S. Navy Band Concert Tickets, Tyler Lions Club, P.O. Box 7937, Tyler, 75711. Only four tickets are allowed per request. Tickets are not available at the Cowan box office.

The audience must be seated by 6:45 p.m. If seats are still available, they will be offered on a first-come basis to those without tickets.

Country Current is the Navy's premier country group. The entertainers have performed with music stars such as Charlie Daniels and Vince Gill and at music festivals, the White House and public schools.
