and Practicality: The Civil War Era Homespun Dress" to the
Civil War Artifact Forum Nov. 1-3 in Charleston, S.C.
Pam
Morrow, information specialist, gave a presentation titled
“File Maintenance for State Reporting" at the Annual
Texas POISE Users Group meeting Nov. 15 at Weatherford College
in Decatur.
The following
presentations were made by UT Tyler personnel at the 81st Annual
Texas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers
Convention Nov. 1-7 in Corpus Christi:
Sherri
Whatley, director of planning and institutional research,
and Shari Koukl, research analyst, made a presentation
titled “Fact Book: Collecting and Presenting Data."
Whatley and Koukl presented a step-by-step guide on how to create
a fact book, based on their experiences in putting together UT
Tyler's first fact book.
Pam
Morrow, information specialist; Sharon Helms,
senior programming analyst; and Steve Webb, director
of enterprise systems at the University of Houston, made a presentation
titled “Prioritizing Data Requests." This presentation
outlined the steps used at UT Tyler and U of H to produce data
requests in a timely and efficient manner. The focus of the presentation
was on how to prioritize multiple requests.
Nina
Rogers, registrar, and Pam Morrow received
service awards in recognition of their participation with TACARO.
Rogers serves on the Legislative Issues Standing Committee and
Morrow serves on the Data Collection Committee.
