Students Awarded Kennedy Memorial Scholarships

Three UT Tyler students are the recipients of the first Kennedy Memorial Scholarships.

The scholarships were presented to senior Sabrina Dean and junior Robert Ogden, both of Tyler, and senior Terri Keisling of Athens during the Arc of Tyler’s annual membership dinner earlier this month. The students, all of whom are interdisciplinary studies majors, received awards for $350 each.

The scholarship fund was established by former Tyler resident Richard Kennedy and his sons Robert and Chris in memory of his wife Christel Kennedy.

The scholarships are awarded to students whose major course of study is special education.
