Dr.
Ralph Hippenstiel, professor of electrical engineering,
chaired two sessions at the 36th Asilomar Conference on Signals,
Systems and Computers. The conference was held Nov. 3-6 at the
Asilomar Grounds in Pacific Grove, Calif.
Hippenstiel’s
topics were: "Pattern Recognition" and "Denoising."
He also co-authored and presented a paper titled “Bootstrapped-Based
Denoising."
