Ingrid Patrick, a junior at UT Tyler, is one of 42 students selected nationwide to receive a scholarship from the National Society of Accountants Scholarship Foundation. Patrick was awarded a $1,000 scholarship for the 2002-03 academic year on the basis of an outstanding scholastic record. The Tyler resident is majoring in accounting. The foundation assists dedicated students who are committed to a career in accounting with financial assistance to support their education. More than 1,000 students applied for the awards. “The NSA Scholarship Foundation is pleased that through financial encouragement we are able to directly assist outstanding students on a nationwide basis and help assure an adequate base of accountants for America’s future,’’ said Donald L.
