Truly Bizarre Magic Comes to UT Tyler
Nationally
touring magician Brian Brushwood will present a unique magic show
at The University of Texas at Tyler.
The performance will
be 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2 in the University Center.
“The show will
feature everything from mind reading to strange bodily feats,”
said Ernest McAllister, UT Tyler coordinator of student activities.
Brushwood will perform
fire eating and sleight-of-hand tricks, escape from a straitjacket,
break cinder blocks over his head, stick nails in his eyes, read
minds and lay on a bed of nails.
Having toured coast to
coast performing at colleges, he has appeared on “The Tonight
Show,” “The Roseanne Show” and “Talk Soup.”
Brushwood has been awarded
both Best Club Magic and Best Comedy Magic by the Texas Association
of Magicians.
