Special Program, noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, UC
118. Dr. Davor Jedlicka, professor of sociology, will present
a program recounting his experiences with the American Red Cross
as a mental health counselor at Ground Zero and discussing the
changing roles of American citizenship since 9/11.

Banquet, 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, Cowan Center White
Lobby. Cost: $10 at the door. RSVP to 566-7225. Evening attire.
The event will be sponsored by the Student Government Association
with the assistance of the Alumni Association in conjunction with

field. The men’s team will play McMurry College.

Third Wednesday Film Series
presents “Gosford Park,’’ 2:30 p.m. and 6:30
p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, Cowan Center Room 1009 (Braithwaite
entrance). Single tickets are $4. Admission free to students with
current student identification card. Film series, featuring works
of Robert Altman, is a project of the Friends of the Arts, sponsored
