- 9/11
Special Program, noon-1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, UC
118. Dr. Davor Jedlicka, professor of sociology, will present
a program recounting his experiences with the American Red Cross
as a mental health counselor at Ground Zero and discussing the
changing roles of American citizenship since 9/11.
- Alumni
Banquet, 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, Cowan Center White
Lobby. Cost: $10 at the door. RSVP to 566-7225. Evening attire.
The event will be sponsored by the Student Government Association
with the assistance of the Alumni Association in conjunction with

- Homecoming
Soccer Game, 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, UT Tyler soccer
field. The men’s team will play McMurry College. Meet the
Patriots at 4 p.m. A Freaky Friday After Party will follow the
game in the University Center. The women’s team will play
the College of the Southwest at 5 p.m. in Northwood.
- The
Principal’s Institute – Restructuring Early Childhood,
9 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, University Center Room 118. Dr.
Arthur Stellar will be the keynote speaker for Phase VI of the
Principal’s Institute sponsored by Region VII Head Start.
