& Information Wins CASE Awards
The UT Tyler
Office of News and Information received four awards in the 2003
Council for Advancement and Support of Education District IV Awards
Competition.
An organization
for advancement professionals in alumni relations, communications
and development, CASE annually recognizes outstanding work in the
advancement arena.
Winners were
announced at an awards ceremony April 7, during the 2003 CASE District
IV Conference in Little Rock, Ark. The district includes Texas,
Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico and Mexico.
UT Tyler received
the following awards:
The UT Tyler
Challenge development brochure merited the Excellence/Silver award
in the fund-raising literature category. Contributors were Carolyn
Halbert, designer; Deanna Sims, copywriter; and R. Mallory, T. Gibbs
and T. Thompson, photographers.
The UT Tyler
admissions viewbook received the Excellence/Silver award in the
viewbooks category. Contributors were Carolyn Halbert, designer;
Beverley Golden and Emily Battle, copywriters; and R. Mallory, T.
Gibbs, T. Thompson and R. Langham, photographers.
The UT Tyler
athletics logo, designed by Brent Hale, won the Excellence/Silver
award in the logo design category.

admissions home page, designed by Robin Kelly, merited the Excellence/Silver
award in the World Wide Web single page category.
Entries were
judged by a panel of experts who are not current advancement professionals
in District IV.
