Society of Engineers
Recognizes Students
The
East Texas Chapter of the Texas Society of Professional
Engineers recognized UT Tyler students and graduates
who passed the Fundamentals of Engineering examination
during 2002.
The
daylong written FE exam is given nationally
in April and October and is a key step toward
licensure as a professional engineer. The exam
tests applicants’ knowledge of mathematics,
physics, chemistry, engineering science and
engineering ethics.
The
East Texas Chapter of TSPE met at UT Tyler on
April 15 to recognize those who passed the exam,
including students Sean Droptini, Tonya Newsom,
Donald Campbell, Cecil Willis, Tobie LaBauve,
Nick Cardwell, John Montgomery, Brian Witt,
James Oertel, Chace Beddingfield and Robert
Roycroft and graduates Dustin Cummings and Chris
Field.
