Society of Engineers Recognizes Students

The East Texas Chapter of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers recognized UT Tyler students and graduates who passed the Fundamentals of Engineering examination during 2002.

The daylong written FE exam is given nationally in April and October and is a key step toward licensure as a professional engineer. The exam tests applicants’ knowledge of mathematics, physics, chemistry, engineering science and engineering ethics.
