Dr. Troy Henson, dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Science, expressed his appreciation to the engineering faculty for the hundreds of hours invested in the design, implementation and maintenance of continuous quality improvement systems. “The ongoing,
sustainable, closed-loop CQI systems with assessment processes that
the engineering faculty developed have made accreditation a reality,’’
Henson said. “The ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission
has been convinced that the graduates of both the electrical engineering
program and the mechanical engineering program are satisfying the
program outcomes and the alumni are meeting the program educational
