Receives NSF Grant
UT
Tyler has been awarded a three-year grant from the National
Science Foundation for a project designed to attract and retain
engineering students.
A
proposal by Dr. Jeffrey Mountain, assistant professor of mechanical
engineering, titled “Development of a Process Control
Breadboard System to Attract and Retain Engineering Students"
was awarded a grant for $292,369 through the NSF Division
of Engineering Education and Centers’ Engineering Education

– Chancellor Mark G. Yudof has moved to complete his
administrative team with appointments in the offices of academic
affairs, governmental relations and community relations.
Yudof
announced the appointments of:
- Brian
K. Jammer as assistant vice chancellor for governmental
relations, effective Jan. 1.
- Dr.
Pedro Reyes as associate vice chancellor for planning and
assessment in the Office of Academic Affairs, effective
Jan. 15.

Deanna D. Rodriguez as associate vice chancellor for community
relations and executive associate for strategic communications,
