The staff will visit two locations each month, including schools for children with disabilities, elementary schools and hospital pediatric units.

They recently visited 14 classrooms and gave out 200 baseball cards at St. Louis School.

"The opportunity to visit the St. Louis School was a life changing experience,” Vilade said. “All of the wonderful children and young adults embraced the UT Tyler baseball coaching staff like lifelong friends. When the students received their baseball cards the smiles on their faces lit up the room. It was a true blessing to share the game of baseball with these students.”
