UT Tyler theatre and music programs will present “Annie" April 4-6 and April 11-13 in Vaughn Auditorium. Performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. Sundays. The life story of the greatly loved Little Orphan Annie will be set against the backdrop of the reality of the Depression era, when orphans were less the stuff of comic action and were true unfortunates in a time of social deprivation and economic chaos. “Annie" will be a presentation of fantasy, love, witty lyrics and music.
