High school juniors and seniors will explore the world of engineering during an open house of the UT Tyler electrical and mechanical engineering departments Thursday, April 3. The event, scheduled for 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m. on campus, is designed to introduce creative students with a strong background in math and science to career opportunities in engineering. Participants will observe demonstrations and take part in hands-on lab experiments including building and launching rockets.
