The fall semester will open with two weeks of WelcomeFest activities for freshman, transfer and returning students. Events will begin Saturday, Aug. 16, and continue through Friday, Aug. 29. The Office of Student Life, student organizations and university departments are working in conjunction to host events. Participating organizations include the Baptist Student Ministry, Cornerstone, The Latin Club, Student Government Association and SAPB. Those who would like to sponsor or assist with events should contact Shaune Martinez in the Office of Student Life, 903-565-5651 or smartinez@uttyler.edu.
