Mrs. Emma Wise Honored for Gift of Alumni Wall

The UT Tyler Alumni Association held a reception Nov. 11 honoring Mrs. Emma F. Wise for her gift of the alumni wall, which lists the names of nearly 20,000 graduates.

The large display, located on the exterior of the University Center, is the result of a gift by Mrs. Wise to honor her late husband, Watson W. Wise, and to honor all graduates of the university for their scholarly work, perseverance and life-changing accomplishments. More>>>

SAPB Announces Concert, Pep Rally

The UT Tyler Student Activities Programming Board will present a concert and basketball preseason pep rally at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, in the University Center.

The “Live From the UC" concert will feature the Tyler band 14K. The concert and rally will be open to the public. More>>>

Wednesday Film Series Presents “Viva Max!”

Viva Max! posterThe Third Wednesday Film Series will continue Nov. 19 with the presentation of “Viva Max!,” starring Peter Ustinov and Jonathan Winters.

The film (1969, 92 minutes) will be shown at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in FPAC 1009. Single tickets are $4. UT Tyler, TJC and Texas College students are admitted free with valid ID. More>>>

Baseball/Softballs Fields – An architect has been selected, and the design is underway.

Dormitory – An architect has been selected to design the building. Details>>>

Engineering, Science and Technology Building – Project in design phase.

Premier Soccer Field – A contract has been awarded to RPR Construction for soccer field construction. Work to begin soon.

Longview University Center monument signs – Project re-bid with some alterations to the design.

Palestine Signs – Project expected to be completed by mid-November.
