First Official Basketball Practice

Freshman player Cerisse Tettey concentrates on her shooting form during the women’s basketball team’s first practice Wednesday, Oct. 15, at the Herrington Patriot Center. Tettey is from Houston (Kempner High School).	UT Tyler women’s basketball team members play three-on-three practice games during their first official workout Wednesday at the HPC. The Patriots will open their season Nov. 22 against LSU-Shreveport at home.

Head men’s basketball coach Matt Wallis watches Patriot players William Leffingwell (left) and Kevin Johnson shoot-around before Wednesday’s practice. Both from Houston, Leffingwell comes to UT Tyler from Klein High School and Johnson is a transfer student from Tyler Junior College.
